Sacred Heart Home Tour 2019

How are we already mid-November?! The days are flying by and I can’t believe we’re almost two weeks away from kicking off the Sacred Heart Home Tour! This East Sacramento Christmas tradition is the biggest fundraiser of the year for Sacred Heart School and 46 years strong. Five designers are each paired with a home in the Fabulous Forties that they get to decorate for Christmas– and then 6,000 people tour the homes on the first weekend in December! I’m so excited to be on the tour this year because it’s officially my first year on the tour as House of Brazier! We have a gorgeous home on 46th that we’ll be decking out and giving you behind the scenes access as we transform it into our holiday party, “The More the Merrier!”

Originally built in 1927, this now stately home was stripped down to one wall and fully remodeled in 2015 by local architect Ted Smith and built by A to Z Builders. Thoughtfully designed to be an entertainer’s dream with a sprawling kitchen and open layout, no expense was spared by the homeowner and CEO of C.C Myers, Inc. during the remodel. With additions to both floors, the home also includes a full basement, sound-proof windows to minimize street noise, and the ultimate in California indoor-outdoor living. A front courtyard and fully decked backyard including an outdoor kitchen, spa and pool, and putting green prove there’s plenty of room for everyone indoors and out!

We’ve decked the halls in gorgeous deep reds, hunter greens and vintage metallics that nod to the fabulous parties of the roaring 20’s to honor the decade the home was built. The festive sparkle complements the crisp black and white architectural details throughout the home providing the perfect backdrop for holiday fun! So bring your party spirit, your favorite friends and head on over– we can’t wait to share it with you! All of the homes are so beautiful and built in all different styles which makes it so much fun getting a sneak peek inside! Grab your tickets for the tour HERE!
