Vegas Market Roundup
Aannnd, we’re back! We had such a great trip to Vegas Market and are thoroughly exhausted! (We walked almost 25,000 steps in a day and a half!– and that was just the beginning!) We met with our reps, found new vendors, opened new accounts and fell in love with some perfectly pretty pieces. We’ve rounded up all kinds of inspiration and are sharing our favorite finds below!
Woven Furniture | Hanging Basket Light Fixtures
These were literally everywhere! All shapes, sizes and slightly varying finishes of woven light fixtures hung from the ceilings. From boho to contemporary, these ever-popular fixtures are the perfect choice to add a warm, natural style to your space!
But it wasn’t only on the ceiling– chairs stood out with unique woven frames in all shapes and amazing detail– even sofas and bed frames! Take a peek!
Color
Hallelujah! My color-loving heart was so happy to see color back in action! Furniture in gorgeous greens, soft aquas and blush pinks, these beauties definitely make a statement. And I’m not just talking about fabrics. There were casegoods, chair frames and artwork that equally made their mark. Oversized floral rugs and larger than life murals– there are hundreds of color options to make any space lively– just take your pick!
Feeling scared? Start small with some art or pillows that can easily be switched out and removed. A bit more daring? Go for a rug or a couple of chairs paired with larger neutral pieces. All in?! Wallpaper, furniture, art, just go for it!
Cut Velvet
Also ev.er.y.where! Those greens, aquas and blushes I mentioned above? Cut velvet. Almost every single one. Sofas, chairs, benches, ottomans, and pillows. Gorgeous to look at and soft to the touch, this fabric is on everyone’s list. Its subtle sophistication makes it an instant winner!
Hide + Fur… Everywhere
Furry white ottoman? Check. Furry bench? Check. Furry pillows. Double check. And in so many colors! Let’s just say there wasn’t a shortage of fur. There were blankets, rugs and chairs too. We love these as accents to cozy up a room!ย The hides we found were gorgeous too! Whites, cognacs, blacks, and everything in between. I’ve always been a sucker for hide rugs and ottomans and loved seeing new takes on one of my faves! Chairs and contrast ottomans mixed with wood or polished with a metal base.
Plant Ladies Rejoice!
All the greenery! Every kind! And the best part? They won’t die if you just happen to have brown thumbs (like me!) All the fiddle leaf figs, banana leafs, agave, palms, succulents and anything else your heart desires. There’s no such thing as too many plants! It’s one of my favorite ways to add life into a space and bring the outdoors in!
Contrast Details
It’s no secret that I love contrast, especially when it comes to furniture pieces! It’s the thoughtful touches that make something ordinary stand out– pieces with juxtaposing materials or unexpected designs. Some have little details and others are made up from pieces working together. There were leather wrapped chair arms, two-tone coffee tables and hardware, and new twists on classic pieces with straps and buckles. There were tables and consoles with inset metal detail and we loved the variety we saw! So go ahead, mix it up!
Textures
Knotted, woven, patterned and all over the place! These details add character and charm to pillows, rugs, and even tables and nightstands are getting subtle textures with materials like shagreen and raffia! It’s the perfect way to add a bit of interest to an otherwise solid surface and because these are typically so subtle, you can add a bunch of pieces without it becoming overwhelming!
Favorite Finds
I love canopy beds and both of these are beautiful– one perfectly suited for the outdoors (top right) and the other wrapped in a gorgeous finely woven lampakanai rope in a white sand finish— ahhh love! You’ve seen most of the rest, but they’re recapped here along with a few other coffee tables, nightstands and fun things!
See something you loved?! Let us know and we can get it for you! In the meantime, enjoy your week and know that we’ll be scheduling pedicures to get our tired feet up and running!
