Behind the Scenes of Chopping and Donating My Hair!

These locks got chopped! ๐Ÿ’‡๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ And itโ€™s getting donated! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผโœจ Iโ€™ve been waiting a long time to do this (my hair grows sooooo slow!) and am so happy to send 9.5โ€ of my hair to Children With Hair Loss ๐Ÿ’› I did my research (this was a great article!) and ended up pushing back my hair appointment last month to make sure it would be long enough to donate, but was surprised it was longer! The curl always hides the real length ๐Ÿ˜‚

I chose CWHL because they provide hair replacements to children up to 21 for free!โœจ I met their minimum length of 8″ and hair requirements (they take hair thatโ€™s not overly highlighted or bleached๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ) and sent it in with my donation form ๐Ÿ’› I’ve always loved my curly hair and I hope that someone loves it as much as I have!

Go behind the scenes as I chopped my hair! I didn’t take a great “before” photo, but this one is pretty recent to show what it looked like prior to today! I couldn’t be happier to send this off and give it to someone that needs it more than I do– ’tis the season for giving and the length was finally at the right spot to make this happen!

Thank you to my longtime friend and stylist, Madison, for chopping my mane and making it look good!
